Here you can participate in the ongoing process of creating a campaign for a Ministry for Peace. It is the ideal opportunity to express your ideas and have your say on the issues at hand. It is a good opportunity to meet the people involved with mfp. Joining the mfp as a member. We are currently running a membership scheme, which you are very welcome to join. We are starting to formulate plans for a series of campaigns to highlight the need for a ministry for peace, and exactly what difference to just and effective government such a ministry can make. Letter-writing, lobbying, getting the idea discussed through the media - all needs the support of a lot of people. Which is where you come in... Writing an article. We are currently seeking articles of inspirational, information, deep thought and philosophy on the themes of conflict transformation, successful examples of mediation, peace work in education etc . Are you a writer? Could you write an article to inspire? If so we'd like to hear from you. Articles submitted will be published on this web site, and may be included in other literature. Fundraising. The mfp cannot survive without adequate funding. We need your help in raising funds to cover the cost of poster printing, badge making, web site, etc. Perhaps you have a fundraising idea, or could help organise a fundraising event in your area. If so, we'd like to hear from you. Getting your group involved. Do you belong to a peace or other related group? Perhaps you belong to an organisation sympathetic to the aims of mfp. If so, do tell them about us. Maybe your group could help raise awareness throughout its network, or with fundraising activities. Please let us know if your group or organisation can help in any way.
